Chapelier Fou New album “Invisible” and UK Tour

Chapelier Fou, aka Louis Warynski returns with his second album ‘Invisible’ released on 1st October. A one-man band in the most modern of senses, French born Warynski applies his classical training on violin to a quirky yet lush electronic landscape. Chapelier Fou (meaning Mad Hatter in English) will be playing a run of UK shows that includes a date in London at the Slaughtered Lamb on the 2nd October (sold out).

During his short career Louis Warynski’s song-writing ability has continually shone through his elaborate and catchy melodies, establishing himself, over three EPs and now two albums, as one of the most intriguing French artists of the recent years.

In this new album, as usual he uses taccado electronic sounds to let the violin notes flooding into the hip-hop and trip-hop backdrop. Exploring the infinite potential of computers, Louis gives free rein to his spontaneity, using violin, guitar, and an increasing number of vintage synths. Probably best placed somewhere between Yann Tiersen and Plaid, his classical training only enhances his music’s playfulness.

Chapelier Fou’s hypnotic live show has taken him around the globe, captivating audiences with his breathtaking mix of electro and virtuoso classical playing.
